The Centre for Public Policy Studies
is an independent and non-partisan public policy institute that aims at fostering open-minded dialogue, enlightened leadership and better governance. Through an innovative mix of policy research, strategic communications and targeted outreach, the Centre's mission is to engage and educate the public and policy makers on best practice policies and successful change strategies that can ensure inclusive development for all Malaysians.
During the internship period, you will be exposed to these areas:
• Public Policy Research
• Writing and Publication
• Analysis and Speech Writing
• Website and communications management
• Marketing and public relations
• Event management
Requirements:
• Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent language skills (spoken and written) in English, Malay and Chinese preferably
• Commit to a full-time internship starting from anytime between February to August 2008 for at least a minimum of a two-month (2) period.
• Trained in the areas of economics, social studies, business, communications, politics
• Interested in socio-economic issues in Malaysia, willing to commit to the CPPS and a fast learner.
**This will be a paid internship for one (1) successful candidate. Other working relationships are also open for exploration.
