1.  MIT Club Talk - TR35 Winner Dr Victor Tong: Developing Algorithms for Personalized Vaccines
The MIT Club of Singapore and A*STAR/Exploit Technologies invite you to a dinner event featuring TR35 winner Dr Victor Tong. Dr Tong, a researcher at A*STAR's Institute for Infocomm Research, will share his ground-breaking work on personalized vaccines. He will also discuss the challenges and rewards of his cross-disciplinary approach to solving problems. The evening's programme starts with a networking dinner, followed by the talk by Dr Tong, and rounds off with a Q&A session.

Dr Tong leads a inter-disciplinary team focusing on developing algorithms that take genetic variations into account to help select antigens that are most effective for triggering immune response. He is the first native Singaporean to win the prestigious award while based here.  He received his formal education entirely in Singapore.

2.  DUAL talk on "If I apply to .... University now, will I get in?....."


Are you wondering how the US college and university application process has changed since you applied?  Today's college application process is more in-depth and competitive than in previous years, due to the increased number of high school graduates and international applicants. DUAL invites you to attend a talk by Ms. Caroline B. Faris, a certified college counselor. She will discuss the many aspects of applying to US colleges and universities, including how to research "good fit" schools, make the most of your child's high school curriculum, prepare for college tours and interviews, brainstorm distinctive college essay topics, and project your student's unique voice throughout the entire application. Come ready to learn about today's application process and have your questions an! swered by a certified college counselor.  It is never too early to prepare for your child's college and university application process.

3.  Annual Dinner of the Harvard Club of Singapore

4.  Stanford Club Talk - Understanding the Credit Crisis

7.  Career Opportunity - Project Executive - Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF)
