The Selangor State Legislative Assemblyman, Y. B. Edward Lee Poh Lin, of
Bukit Gasing would like to invite you to take part in the above 3-day
2-night Youth Camp.
The camp is primarily about enhancing the leadership skills of young
adults (ages 18 – 25) and helping them come to a better understanding of
Malaysian realities.
The program consists of sessions that are very activity based. The
frequent use of games and other energizers will help create an
environment that is both fun and one which facilitates discussion and
learning. Ample time will be allocated for participants to think and
speak their mind on a series of contemporary issues. Time will also be
allocated for outdoor activities - an important component in team
building. Also, participants will be sleeping in tents so as to enhance
the experience and appreciation for nature and to foster ties and bond
with other participants.

2. Date: 28^th , 29^th and 30^th November 2008 (Friday, Saturday and
Sunday) *//*
Please note that 28^th November (Friday) is a working day and if you
intend to come for the program you will have to apply for leave. The
Youth Camp is a live-in program and those who wish to take part are
required to stay in throughout the camp.
3. Time: The workshop will commence at 9.00 am on 28^th November 2008
(Friday) and
conclude at 1.30 pm on 30^th November 2008 (Sunday). All participants
are requested to be at the workshop venue by 9.00 am on 28^th November 2008.
4. Transport: Transport to the camp will be provided. Participants
are required to be gathered
at Pejabat & Pusat Khidmat ADUN, Stadium Hoki MBPJ, Jalan Selangor
(opposite Assunta hospital), 7:30am *sharp*. Bus leaves at 8:00am *sharp*.
5. Venue: Hutan Lipur & Tapak Perkhemahan Sungai Chongkak, Hulu Langat.**

6. Dress code: Casual (decent). Participants will also have to bring
along clothing and
footwear that is necessary for outdoor activities.
7. Registration fee: There is a registration fee of RM20 and the rest
of the cost will be sponsored.
However, participants are expected to take the camp seriously. Please
note that due to limited places, registration will be on a
first-come-first- served basis.
