CPE Reading Club Talk on 24th Sep 2008

An interesting talk.

Greetings from Centre for Continuing Professional Education, Tunku Abdul Rahman Colllege.

Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TARC) through its Centre for Continuing Professional Education, in collaboration with MCA Lifelong Learning will be organising a Reading Club for the book entitled "What Color is Your Parachute?" on 24 September 2008 (Wednesday). "What Color is Your Parachute?" is a book written by Richard Nelson Bolles who has been a leader in the career development field for more than thirty-five years.

"What Color is Your Parachute?" is a best-selling job-hunter's bible for decades. It is a complete handboook for people who are on a quest to find their mission in life or looking for their dream job. Richard Nelson Bolles leads job-hunters to find meaningful work. He always asks, WHAT skills do you most love to use? WHERE -in what filed?- would you most love to use them? And HOW do you find such a job without depending on agencies and ads?

Besides, this book includes the following information:
- The 5 best and worst ways to hunt for a job.
- The new nature of the job market.
- The pitfalls of job hunting on the Internet.
- Job hunting with handicaps.
- Overcoming blocks during your career search.
- New research on career testing.

We cordially invite you to attend this complimentary reading event by Mr Cheong Kwai Fong.
