----------

MRW & Associates (www.mrwassoc.com ) works at the intersection of energy markets, regulation, and policy. We combine an in-depth knowledge of electric power and natural gas markets with rigorous economic and technical analysis to help clients assess market opportunities, develop business strategies, evaluate market developments, analyze policy implications, and address regulatory issues.

Our work spans many areas, including energy project finance, renewable energy, regulatory and litigation support, energy policy, and utility rate design. Typical projects include the following:
· Analysis of policy, regulatory, and market developments
· Financial due diligence of power projects
· Expert witness testimony for regulatory or legal proceedings
· Forecasts of electricity rates or rate elements
· Research related to energy rates, markets, policies, or regulations
· Development of spreadsheet models, memoranda, reports, and presentations

As a consultant with MRW, you will have a significant role in a wide variety of projects. MRW also encourages each consultant to directly contribute to the development and growth of the firm.

MRW is interested in hiring people with the skills and qualities that lead to success as a consultant in our field: intelligence, enthusiasm for the subject matter, and integrity. Our professionals have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, know their way around spreadsheets, can delve into numbers or large data sets with ease, enjoy working on challenging assignments where priorities and deadlines routinely change, and work well independently as well as in teams. These are the qualities that we are most interested in. Previous experience with energy markets or regulation is preferred but not required. Both entry-level and mid-career candidates are encouraged to apply.

MRW places a high value on employee work-life balance. We also offer a competitive salary and exceptional benefits, including comprehensive medical and dental insurance, generous vacation and sick leave allowances, charitable contribution matching, and pre-tax payment programs for commuting and health care costs. Our office is located in downtown Oakland and is readily accessible by BART and bus.

To apply, please send a cover letter and resume to jobs@mrwassoc.com.
