Concept: To educate participants about leadership skills for solving global
issues
and to create its original international network of future leaders in
science and
technological fields.
Date : August 23rd - August 31st, 2009
Place : National Institution for Youth Education (http://nyc.niye.go.jp/e/)
Eligibility : Graduate and Undergraduate students in Japan, USA, China and
France
Admission: Submit your application online by May 1st, 23:59(JST), 2009.
*Contents*
- Leadership lectures, workshops, discussion with collaboration from MIT
Leadership Center(http://sloanleadership.mit.edu/).
- MIT Media Lab Sensible Organizations
Project(http://web.media.mit.edu/~sandy/).
During the forum, all participants will wear a small sensor which captures
their communication and visualizes group dymanics from its data in order
to give positive feedback to group activities and leadership trainings.
- During thematic sessions, we will focus on "Military and Peaceful Use of
Science and Technology" as a global issue closely linked
o science and technology.
Participants will have lectures, workshops, site visit, and discussion.

We will hold info sessions at Tokyo Univ, Tokyo Tech , Keio Univ, Waseda
Univ, Tsukuba Univ and Tohoku Univ this April.
