Cornell Investment Club Stock Pitch Competition

Fellow Cornellians, this would be a great event to take part!

-----
A call to all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors interested in finance and
business:

The Cornell Investment Club would like to invite members of the
undergraduate community to compete to represent Cornell at the first
Undergraduate Intercollegiate Stock Pitch Competition to be held in Ithaca
at the end of April.

Competition Details:
We will be holding a stock pitch competition on Friday, March 28th to
select the team that will represent Cornell University at the
intercollegiate competition in April.  Each team (3 students) will be
given one stock and will have 24 hours to prepare a pitch.  The stock
pitch will be a 15 minute presentation with a few additional minutes
reserved for questions.  Graduate business students from the Johnson
School will judge the presentations and choose the winner.  More details
and specific rules will follow after all teams are registered.

The level of the competition is expected to be high.  Students should be
familiar with accounting and valuation principles, as these tools will
separate mediocre teams from the best.

Entry Requirements:
Only teams of three can register, no individual entrants please.  We are
targeting freshmen, sophomores, and juniors in order to build early
exposure to the financial world as well as to offer networking
opportunities.  There is a $15 fee (per team) to cover expenses.

Please send the names and years of your team members to: Teresa Tang
(xt28@cornell.edu) by Friday, March 14th with "Stock Pitch Team" as the
subject line.

Please send any questions to Vikas Patel (vpp6@cornell.edu) or Sagar Shah
(ss522@cornell.edu)

Sincerely,

Wayne Taylor
President, Cornell Investment Club
