Submit to BR Ventures Business Idea Competition
BR Ventures is a student run venture fund at the Johnson School at Cornell
University. The BR Ventures Business Idea Competition provides a way for
entrepreneurs (students and alumni alike) to take their first step toward
turning an idea into a viable business. Entry is free for Cornell-affiliated
individuals, including alumni, and you could win up to $20,000 for your
Business Idea. Also, the entry form is only two pages. Entry Teams will take
their ideas, develop them and submit them to a panel of judges. This year
you will have a unique opportunity to view feedback for your idea by logging
back into your application page. The Entry Teams that submit the best
Business Ideas will present their Business Idea before BR Ventures and
judges from the venture capital community on April 10, 2008. 1st and 2nd
place winner may advance to the 2008 Golden Horseshoe Business Challenge, a
regional contest with a grand prize of $100,000.
