Start-Up@Singapore (S@S) and the National Library Board (NLB) are proud to present the NLB Series! Comprising 3 events for aspiring entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs-at-heart and supporters of entrepreneurship, this series aims to educate the general public through interactive and insightful events and seminars conducted by past winners and top performers in our yearly S@S business plan competitions.
NLB Series: Nurture-It: Workplace Strategies is the finale of the NLB series. After a company establishes itself and gains a sustainable market share, the next thing they have to look into is their workplace strategies so as to ensure that the strategies meet their organizational needs. By implementing good and effective workplace strategies a company can reduce cost, attract and retain its best staffs, increase productivity and increase their ability to overcome uncertainties. What is the ideal workplace structure? How do you manage changes in the workplace?

Speaker's Panel
Felix Lee, Marketing Director of AdtranetFelix Lee is the marketing director of ShowNearby Pte Ltd, advisor for strategic development at ZingMobile Group Ltd, and the marketing director of a 3D animation company concurrently. He was previously the COO at Samsung Holdings Ltd. With over 24 years of marketing and IT in senior management positions, Felix contributes towards the conceptualisation, strategy, and operations of interactive, community-based, solutions for government, corporate and FMCG industries. Having deployed mobile LBS, mobile CRM, and workforce solutions for enterprise, he has expert knowledge in mobile marketing and 3D environments. Furthermore, he serves with local government on an ad hoc basis. He was a member of the SITF Wireless Chapter Working Committee on Data Privacy, and a firm proponent of think tanking by collaboration.
Lee Choon Hou, Managing Director of TEGACLee Choon Hou (Andy) is an upcoming entrepreneur whom have proven track record since he graduated from NUS with first class honours from mechanical engineering. Upon graduation he joined a well reputable foreign bank and became the top financial adviser within the first three months, outshining his colleagues whom were in the industry for many years. Although Andy was sought after many top financial companies and was offered attractive packages, he decided to pursue his passion of setting up his own entrepreneurship venture . His company TEGAC is a trading company based in Singapore. It is a leading Franchise Trader of World Business Group (WBG) for its entire range of life-reversing products that carries the Trademark IndinineTM. TEGAC stands for The EGA Company. EGA is actually the word AGE in reverse and thus Andy is a strong advocate of holistic health. His company's mission is to raise the awareness that everyone can "BE younger" by choosing so, to spread health & youth to all parts of the world.
