Amnesty International Malaysia (AIM) - participating in 2009 ICM

Thanks Sebastian for highlighting on Amnesty International's International Council Meeting on 9 - 14 August 2009.

Dear Members

The International Council Meeting will be held on 9 - 14 August 2009.
AIM would like to invite one member to assist us in the preparation
and join us for the meeting. This would include to collectively
determine and facilitate discussions among members, share information
on key ICM decisions and participate actively in discussion prior and

This years ICM will be focusing on key accountability and growth
issues as well as the upcoming Demand Dignity Campaign, hence we seek
to establish a stronger presence on the Dignity Campaign from your

Therefore,the AIM member who want to submit application must be
experienced in ESCR campaign activities and actions as in providing
policy direction and involved in managing or initiating ESCR campaigns
and must have good knowledge in HR and ESCR issues both on key
regional and international frameworks and policies. Please send in
your personal details and please describe in 500 words or more how AI
can engage and decide on ESCR issues and please provide key
recommendations and solutions. The closing date for submission is 24
May 2009.
