MIRC eSME Week Complimentary Workshops

KNOWLEDGE ENRICHING WORKSHOPS AWAITING MALAYSIA ENTREPRENEURS.

 

In conjunction with the SME Solutions Expo that will take place from 9^th to 11^th July, 2009 (Thursday-Saturday) at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC), the MCA ICT Resource Centre (MIRC) took this golden opportunity to held the MIRC eSME Week Complimentary Workshops.  There will be 3 workshops that will take place from 13^th to 15^th July, 2009 (Monday-Wednesday) at  Level 12, Wisma MCA, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.

 

The main objective of these three knowledge enriching workshops are to help fellow entrepreneurs in nurturing and expanding their business ideas. To kick start the week, a one-to one consultation workshop will take place on the 13^th July (Monday), focusing on helping fellow entrepreneurs to start their online businesses. Among the consultants that will involve for this workshop are the experts from Neowave, iPay88, Google and BrandLaureate (invited speaker). This by appointment only workshop will start from 2 pm until 5 pm.

 

Following the one-to-one consultation, a "Practical Workshop on How to Start Your Online Business" will take place the next day. One of the interesting topics that will be presented is the "E-Commerce 101: How to Start Your Business Online? " where the critical aspects of online business will be put on close look.  This workshop that will take place from 9 am to 5 pm on the 14^th July (Tuesday) will also explore in depth important issues clouding online businesses such as the online gateway, fraud, branding and many more. A case study will be presented as well at the end of the program. This workshop is definitely something not to be missed!

Closing the week, the "Online Marketing – A Channel to Maximize Your Sales Workshop" will take place on 15^th July, 2009 (Wednesday) from 9 am to 5 pm. In this workshop participants will learn more about the new rules of marketing, Google AdWords and online branding. Besides that, participants will also learn on how to maximize their sales through free online marketing tools such as Twitter, FaceBook and corporate blogs.
