SEDAR Institute is a non-profit and independent organization seeking to develop ideas and strategies to help build a united, democratic, just, egalitarian, liberal and progressive nation for all Malaysians, transcending the barriers of race, gender and religion.

 

SEDAR Institute is looking for suitable candidates to fill in as a full-time intern and a policy analyst. The intern and the policy analyst will cover a wide scope of duties including media analysis, organizing and attending seminars and conferences and doing research on government policies.

 

This position requires proficiency mainly in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Other languages and dialects would be an added advantage. The candidate shall be versatile and must also possess basic ICT skills. We are not particular about tertiary education background. Applicants from various fields such as economics, law, journalism, political science or other disciplines are welcomed.

 

A suitable amount of remuneration and the time-frame of internship can be negotiated. As for the position of policy analyst, we are looking forward to hear those who are committed and dedicated in the pursue of research and development of socioeconomic and political issues to the benefit of our institute.
