Thanks to Jasmin Melan from Couch Surfing for highlighting on Terry Fox Run 2009 for Kuala Lumpur. Terry Fox Run is being done to raise fund for cancer research.
I have participated in this twice, so definitely am looking forward to it!

You can run, skate, rollerblade, cycle, walk, jog or whatever at Terry Fox Run. No entrance fee but purchase of limited edition t-shirt is optional at RM25 each. Proceeds will go towards cure for cancer research.

2) Canadian High Commission, Menara Tan & Tan, Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur (From 15th Oct, Mon to Thurs, 8.30am to 12.00pm, 2.00pm to 4.00pm, Fridays 8.30am to 12.00pm)
3) Foyer, Menara Citibank, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur (from 26th Oct to 30th Oct 12.00 to 2.00pm)

Amazing! This seems like a good event to me and very much related to my own efforts. I travel around the world on CouchSurfing for charity, that is, I establish contacts to ngo's, orphanages, streetkids' projects, etc. THROUGH COUCHSURFING!! And it works!
