"We are very proud to be continuing with this Fest for its second year and we hope that Malaysians from all walks of life would take some time off to head over to Palate Palette to watch these films for free" said Yasmin Rasyid, Founder of EcoKnights – a non-profit environmental organization based here in Kuala Lumpur.

Four award-winning full-length films and two short films will be shown for the first time in Malaysia at Palate Palette and they are "Blue Gold", "Everything's Cool", "The Woven Ways", "The WaterFront", "The Secret Life of Cell Phones" and "The Secret Life of Paper".

Among some of the products are mobile solar chargers, handicraft by local indigenous people and also trendy and cool handbags and clutches made from recycled aluminum pull tabs.

"We want to promote small green businesses with their green products and hope that we can open up the minds and eyes of Malaysians to choose greener products and habits. In addition, the films that will be premiering are award-winning films and also portray real-time environmental issues and scenarios that could potentially affect Malaysians in the near future", added Yasmin.
