Almost all of JPA Ivy League and Ivy League Standard universities would be represented. Efforts have been done to try and get Yale to make it all 8 Ivy League represented.

And there are attendees coming from 12 states (anyone coming down from Perlis and Kelantan?) That would make it attendees from all 14 states. Quite a few are flying down from East Malaysia.

For the Seminars, you would definitely be able to really have a very solid grasp of US Education. This would be a good crash course (and it is free!) for those of you who just got US Program. Since the seminars and the booths are happening at the same time, you might need to bring your parents/siblings to sit in for you at seminar or go to booth, since you can't be at all places.

The seminars are:-
10am - US Education System (Gary Widmar - University of Missouri, Kansas City and Cathleen Fuller - Western Michigan University)

10:45am - US Visa (Andrew Miller - Consul General, US Embassy)

11:30am - US Universities Applications 1 (Dr. James Coffman - Executive Director MACEE and Riaz OmarFarouk - Princeton Review)

12:15pm - US Universities Applications from Counselor (Kevin Sim - Resident Counselor, Raffles Junior College, Singapore) - He is flying in from Singapore on his own cost to share with you. He has helped hundreds, if not thousands of students to get into Ivy League

1:00pm - Postgraduate US Universities Applications (Cheong Lin Lee - she successfully gotten admission to Harvard/Stanford/MIT for PhD)

1:45pm - US Universities Interviewers Panel (Dr. Ewe Hong Tat - MIT, Bakhtiar Talhah - Princeton, Donald Lim - University of Pennsylvania) - For those who are applying for Ivy League, these are the people who will decide your fate!

2:30pm - Opportunities while studying in US (Rais Imran - Cornell University & Petronas, Chen Chow - Cornell University & JobStreet.com)

3:15pm - Job Prospect After Graduation (Chook Yuh Yng - Head of Sales, JobStreet.com)

So, we would look from higher view of US Education System, and then to your visa, to your applications needs, SAT Reasoning Test, SAT2, TOEFL, application essays, recommendation letters, Master's and PhD appications, interview, to life in US and job prospect after graduation! During MACEE session, you can ask him on financial aid too!

Would encourage any of my blog readers to share with me any event that you come across. As long as the event/activity/initiative is education/charity/youth oriented and is not-for-profit, I would be more than happy to post it to share!
