With another 25 A320 being placed as firm order for Air Asia during LIMA Exhibition, Air Asia is now the proud biggest customer for Airbus for the A320 model. That is definitely an achievement.
Datuk Tony has talked about Air Asia being the largest airline in the world, and that could be a reality soon. Right now, Air Asia is already the 3rd biggest airlines in South East Asia behind SIA and Thai Airways.
Indonesia-based Lion Air also firmed up 22 737 planes, making them having a total order of 122 planes.
And today, an Air Asia X plane and 10 British Red Arrows were involved in an air performance. That definitely brought up a lot of visibility for Air Asia, or for that matter Air Asia X.
